Mistral makes first M&A, buys Koyeb to expand on-premises footprint
French AI startup Mistral AI has acquired Paris-based startup Koyeb in its first takeover, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 17. Founded in 2020 by engineers formerly at French cloud provider Scaleway, Koyeb offers a platform for deploying AI applications in serverless environments and recently introduced Koyeb Sandbox for model deployment. Koyeb will continue to run independently, and its 13 employees and co-founders will join Mistral AI\'s engineering team.
