Korea Broadcasters Association says early voting data missing in local election exit poll for four areas
The Korea Broadcasters Association’s Joint Prediction Survey Committee (KEP) apologised on June 11 after errors were found in gender and age analysis data during coverage of the June 3 local election exit poll. KEP said early voting estimate data were omitted in four areas handled by Hankook Research, with only election-day exit poll results reflected. It said final winner forecasts combined both surveys normally and stressed the issue was a polling firm mistake.

Telecom, finance, transport, defense and space to shift to PQC as quantum security response accelerates
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Tuesday it has begun expanding pilot transitions to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and launching commercial R&D for key national infrastructure including telecommunications, finance, transport, defense and space. The programme will apply PQC in real systems to identify technical issues and establish migration procedures, while developing technologies to automatically identify vulnerable cryptographic assets and support conversion, operation and stability verification.

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it held a ceremony to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Quantum Platform Research Hub Consortium and the Quantum Graduate Schools. The agreement aims to build a career development pathway for quantum talent. It focuses on helping PhD-level graduates from the quantum graduate schools accumulate research capabilities through links with government-funded research institutes\' hubs.
