Dinotisia raises 90 billion won in Series A to step up AI storage business
Dinotisia, an AI storage specialist, has raised 90 billion won in Series A funding to expand its vector database and dedicated semiconductor business. Elohim Partners led the round, joined by multiple new institutional investors and follow-on participation from existing backers. The company is developing the Seahorse vector database and a Vector Data Processing Unit chip. It plans to use the funds to upgrade products, prepare VDPU commercialization, expand globally and hire talent, while pursuing an IPO.

Wconcept appoints fashion expert Lee Ji-eun as CEO to narrow gap with 29CM
Wconcept, a women\'s fashion platform under South Korea\'s Shinsegae Group, has appointed fashion expert Lee Ji-eun as chief executive, replacing former CEO Lee Ju-cheol, a strategy veteran from Gmarket. The company said the change aims to strengthen competitiveness in fashion, its core business. Wconcept\'s operating profit and revenue have shown uneven performance since its acquisition by Shinsegae\'s SSG.com. The transaction-value gap with Musinsa-owned 29CM has widened to about twofold, industry officials said.

Shinsegae Group fashion platform Wconcept said on Thursday it appointed Lee Ji-eun as its new chief executive. Lee, a fashion specialist, previously worked at fashion companies including LF and Kolon. She is Wconcept\'s first female chief executive. Wconcept said it plans to review core capabilities of its fashion vertical platform and strengthen fundamental competitiveness amid intense competition in the fashion market.
