Kolon Benit, a domestic partner of global ERP software provider SAP, will strengthen its overall SAP business in 2026, focusing on SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and artificial intelligence (AI).

In line with SAP’s strategic direction to reshape ERP environments into a cloud-based solution ecosystem and expand AI functions across work processes, Kolon Benit plans to continuously support SAP transitions and upgrades optimised for customer environments. It also plans to focus on boosting customer work efficiency and system utilisation by strengthening delivery capabilities in line with changing SAP technology trends.

SAP is expanding the use of AI in an integrated cloud environment centred on SAP Business Data Cloud, making it a basic element of its Software as a Service (SaaS) approach alongside SAP solutions. BDC, a cloud platform that connects SAP applications, includes SAP Datasphere, which links to existing SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and DW (Data Warehouse)-based analytics environments, and supports shifting corporate data analysis and utilisation structures to a cloud environment.

In line with this trend, Kolon Benit plans to strengthen its business capabilities to convert existing BW and DW environments into a Datasphere-based analytics environment to support upgrades to customers’ SAP environments.

Joo-young Jung, an executive director who oversees SAP business at Kolon Benit, said the company has accumulated proven delivery experience across the full process of SAP transition, operations and upgrades. He said it will continue to strengthen its competitiveness as a leading SAP business operator in South Korea in step with SAP’s expansion of its cloud-based ecosystem and its AI application strategy.
