Samsung Electronics highlights device connectivity strategy at Gamescom for \'anytime, anywhere\' gaming
Samsung Electronics is shifting its gaming strategy from standalone device performance to connectivity across devices. At Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, it presented an integrated gaming ecosystem linking PC, console and mobile under the #PlaySamsung slogan, with four themed zones. The booth used a Korean PC cafe concept and included hands-on demos, cloud gaming and storage products. Samsung also highlighted software cooperation with Activision Blizzard for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Krafton unveils five new titles at Gamescom, expands IP beyond PUBG
Krafton unveiled five new titles at Gamescom 2026, covering new intellectual property and an expansion of the PUBG franchise. At a media day in Cologne, it introduced NO LAW, Project Zeta, Age Twister, Taray: Unbound and PUBG: Deadnet, outlining development direction and key gameplay. Four are new games with distinct genres and worlds, while PUBG: Deadnet reworks PUBG elements in a different gameplay format.

Samsung Electronics to show integrated gaming ecosystem at Gamescom in Germany
Samsung Electronics will unveil an integrated gaming ecosystem at Gamescom 2026, which opens on Aug. 26 in Cologne, Germany. The company set up a 1,090 square metre booth to display a full package of gaming devices, including monitors, TVs, mobile products, SSDs and headsets. Under the #PlaySamsung slogan, it created four zones, including Odyssey and Galaxy areas. It also planned events including a PlayGalaxy Cup world final and product unveilings.
