Ripple\'s stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed a $2 billion market capitalisation, while the amount issued on the XRP Ledger has also exceeded $1 billion. Jack McDonald (잭 맥도널드), Ripple\'s senior vice president in charge of stablecoins, shared the milestone on X. Ripple is expanding RLUSD use cases in payments, settlement, tokenised finance and corporate lending, and is running a project in Kenya focused on improving access to insurance and loans.

Kenya has launched a blockchain-based education verification system that has uploaded more than 30 million academic records to the Avalanche network. Cointelegraph reported that the Kenya National Examinations Council introduced the system to reduce forged academic certificates and make verification easier. KNEC and Avalanche said it aims to address thousands of counterfeit certificates reported annually in Kenya. They did not disclose how widely the system is being used.
