Hana Financial to invest 1 trillion won in Dunamu, targeting digital asset market

Hana Financial Group is making a strategic equity investment of about 1 trillion won in Dunamu, operator of South Korea\'s largest digital asset exchange Upbit. Hana Financial said Hana Bank will acquire a 6.55 percent stake for about 1.0033 trillion won from Kakao Investment, becoming Dunamu\'s fourth-largest shareholder. The two sides also signed an MOU to cooperate on blockchain-based remittances, a won stablecoin ecosystem, global business and digital asset wealth management services.

EU to roll out single anti-money laundering rulebook in 2027; banks, fintech and crypto firms face changes

The European Union will introduce a single anti-money laundering regulation, AMLR, across all member states from July 10, 2027, reshaping compliance across the financial sector. The rule will apply directly across the bloc and expand coverage beyond banks to fintech firms, payment service providers and crypto companies. It strengthens requirements for unified KYC, risk assessment and ongoing monitoring, and adds tougher expectations on documentation, traceability and auditability of decisions.

OpenAI expands TAC cybersecurity program, offers GPT-5.5 Cyber preview

OpenAI said on Friday it is expanding its Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) program for security professionals and will provide participants with a preview of GPT-5.5 Cyber. TAC has three tiers and requires identity verification, with eligible participants including corporate security teams, bug bounty hunters, verified researchers and some government agencies. OpenAI said thousands of verified defenders and hundreds of teams are currently participating.
