KT steps up Blueboard youth board activities to spread professionalism values
KT said on June 19 its youth board, Blueboard, will begin full-scale activities to spread the company’s core value of KT Professionalism. The group, run since 2001, seeks to improve organisational culture and drive future change based on views of employees in their 20s and 30s. KT selected 64 employees for the 2026 Blueboard and held a launch ceremony on June 18.

KT CEO Park Yoon-young vows to build stage to spread AI services as AX company
KT CEO Park Yoon-young (박윤영) said the company will create a foundation to help expand artificial intelligence services by transforming into an AX company. Speaking after a meeting between Vice Prime Minister Bae Kyung-hoon and South Korea’s three telecom carriers, Park said KT aims to serve as a catalyst for AI service growth and industrial development. He also pledged to strengthen information security and network quality following last year’s femtocell hacking incident.

KT launches Park Yun-young leadership, pledges slimmer organization and AI B2B push
KT has named longtime insider Park Yun-young as CEO, approving his appointment at a shareholder meeting. The company is moving quickly on executive reshuffles and organisational streamlining, including a broader regional structure and simplified reporting lines. KT also plans to bolster AI-based B2B business through a new AX division and integrate its media unit into the customer division. It is also focusing on recovery from last year’s unauthorised micropayment incident.
