KT provides AI skills and ethics education at Busan arts middle school
KT is providing programmes to build AI use skills and digital ethics awareness among middle school students in Busan. KT said it held hands-on AI capability and ethics education at Busan Arts Middle School on Aug. 27 with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and the Korea Press Foundation. Students tried generative AI, board games and team missions, used a mobile AI experience centre and watched a media literacy play developed by the foundation.

KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation selected Dreamspon CEO Ahn Sung-kyu and nonprofit Daehakuro Itda as winners of its Hope Sharing award for the first half of 2026. The foundation said the two were recognised for social contribution activities aimed at narrowing gaps in access to education information. Dreamspon has provided free scholarship information and a one-stop solution for scholarship processes. Daehakuro Itda has run free admissions briefings and tailored consulting for disabled youths and families.

KT Hope Sharing Foundation to hold 2026 K-AI content contest with 54 million won in prize money
KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation will hold the 2026 K-AI Content Contest to find AI-based content and ideas for solving social problems, linked to the Ministry of Science and ICT’s nationwide AI competition. Entries will be accepted July 1-15 and are open from elementary students to the general public. The contest has content and solution categories and includes an AI ethics pledge. Winners will be announced in early August, with 54 million won in prizes across 44 works.
