GPJ appoints Rich Jee as vice president and Korea country head

Experience marketing agency George P. Johnson (GPJ) has appointed Rich Jee as vice president and Korea country head, the company said on Wednesday. Jee has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience across technology, retail, FMCG and professional services. Most recently, he served as CMO for AWS Korea and as a global programme leader for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He previously held marketing and sales roles at Intel Korea, Tesco dunnhumby, Dell Computer Korea, Samjong KPMG and Kellogg Korea.

KT steps up push into medical AX market, introduces standardised model to hospitals nationwide

KT shared AI-based medical services and hospital management innovation plans with officials from major hospitals nationwide. KT said it held the \'KT AXis: Medical 2026\' seminar in Seoul on Oct. 21, attended by about 60 officials from tertiary general hospitals and regional hub public hospitals. The company introduced its medical standardisation model and discussed AI transformation plans tailored to each institution.

Global fintech investment in the second half is expected to concentrate on stablecoin and digital-asset infrastructure, AI and agent commerce, an outlook said. Funding is likely to shift toward companies that have proven profitability and scalability, rather than simple technology experiments. KPMG named financial infrastructure as a key focus, citing expanding stablecoins and tokenised assets and demand to modernise legacy core systems at traditional financial institutions. Large payment-sector M&A is also expected to continue.
