Former Ripple CTO says only this would make him consider unretiring

Samsung Electro-Mechanics signs 300 billion won AI server MLCC supply deal with global major company

Samsung Electro-Mechanics secured an additional long-term supply contract worth about 300 billion won, as demand for AI server parts grows. The company said on Wednesday it signed a contract to supply MLCCs for AI servers to a global major company. The supply period runs for one year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2027. It said only a limited number of companies can supply such products due to design and durability requirements.

Broadcasting Media Communications Committee releases 2024 broadcast assessment; KBS1, MBN top scores by platform

South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Communications Committee approved the 2024 broadcast assessment results for 371 stations operated by 153 broadcasters at a plenary meeting on July 22. The results will be reflected in broadcaster re-licensing and re-approval reviews. KBS1 recorded the highest score among national terrestrial TV channels, while MBN ranked top among comprehensive programming channel operators. The committee also approved the 2025 assessment basic plan and will disclose detailed results on its website.
