Genesis weighs entry-level EV priced in 44 million won range
Genesis is reviewing ways to expand into the mass market with a more affordable electric vehicle, keeping open the possibility of an entry-level model. K battery makers see end of chasm tunnel, profitability within reach in Q2
South Korea\'s three major battery makers posted weak first-quarter results. LG Energy Solution and Samsung SDI swung to operating losses, and SK On is also expected to remain in the red. Hyundai Motor unveils IONIQ 3 small electric car, debuts next-generation infotainment
Hyundai Motor unveiled the IONIQ 3 small electric car for the first time in the world at the 2026 Milan Design Week in Italy on April 20 local time. The Europe-only hatchback is the latest model in the IONIQ lineup and features an Aero Hatch design with a 0.263 drag coefficient. Built on the E-GMP platform, it has a 61 kWh battery and is expected to offer up to 496 km of range on the WLTP cycle for the long-range model.
