At Hoyoland2026, fans pack Genshin Impact and Honkai booths as games move offline
Long lines formed at KINTEX in Goyang on Thursday as visitors waited to try paid and free experiences at Hoyoland2026, an offline event bringing five HoYoverse games together. Some attractions posted 60 to 120 minutes of expected waiting time. HoYoverse Korea said all 34,000 tickets for the four-day event were sold out. The venue offers mission-style experiences, goods, food, stage programmes and cosplay events.

G-Star 2026 expands global and indie exhibitions, releases venue floor plans
G-Star 2026, set for November in Busan, will fill six large booth zones in BEXCO’s first exhibition hall and expand displays in the second hall focused on global game companies and indie games. Organisers released floor plans and key content including exhibits, e-sports tournaments, conferences and online programmes. A new global game showcase and an enlarged indie area will debut, while the BTB hall is revamped to strengthen networking and add an investment programme.

HoYoverse brings Genshin Impact and Honkai together at HoYoLand 2026
HoYoverse Korea said on Aug. 31 it will hold the comprehensive gaming festival HoYoLand 2026 from Oct. 2 to 5 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan. The third edition will bring together five HoYoverse game IPs, including Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact, with themed exhibits and on-site programs. It will also host an exhibition of user-made derivative works and plans to join G-STAR 2026 with 100 booths.
