Musinsa expands into Vietnam with exclusive distribution deal with IPPG affiliate ACFC

South Korean fashion platform Musinsa has expanded its Southeast Asia footprint to Vietnam by signing an exclusive distribution agreement with ACFC, an affiliate of Vietnamese retailer Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG). Vietnam becomes Musinsa\'s third regional base after the Philippines and Indonesia. The partners completed the deal in July and will roll out the Musinsa Standard brand locally. Musinsa plans to open stores in major areas including Ho Chi Minh City and refine products and marketing based on customer feedback.

Jeonbuk financial hub bid enters evaluation phase as financial groups build bases

Discussions on designating Jeonbuk as South Korea’s third financial hub have entered a full evaluation stage. The Financial Services Commission has finalised an evaluation plan and will conduct document reviews and on-site inspections in the third and fourth quarters before deciding within the year whether to grant the designation. As the National Pension Service anchors Jeonbuk Innovation City, four major financial holding groups have also moved to build asset management and capital market bases there.

NIPA supports K-Health push into Vietnam, secures export deals and MOUs

South Korean digital healthcare companies signed export contracts and business cooperation agreements in Vietnam through a joint overseas expansion programme, the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA said on Monday. Daejeon, Daegu and Gwangju jointly ran the programme for the first time. Activities in Vietnam from June 22 to 26 included hospital visits, business meetings and networking. Kotras signed an $85,000 export deal and is pursuing another $70,000 deal in Hanoi.
