Hangeul and Computer Foundation holds first official event, Multicultural Harmony Camp
The Hangeul and Computer Foundation held the “Multicultural Harmony Camp: Joy of Being Together” from Oct. 4 to 5 at Cheongrium in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, with about 500 participants. The camp, held for the second time, expanded multicultural family support activities into a foundation-level program. Organisers awarded 30 multicultural youths 30 million won in scholarships and hosted Hangeul-themed calligraphy and a poetry-and-painting exhibition.

Hangeul and Computer Foundation, Our Culture Guardians to hold multicultural harmony camp
Hangeul and Computer Foundation and Our Culture Guardians will jointly hold the “Multicultural Harmony Camp: The Joy of Being Together” on Oct. 4-5 at Cheongrium in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. It is the foundation’s first official event. Multicultural families from seven metropolitan-area organisations will participate. Organisers will award 30 million won in scholarships to 30 youths and sign an MOU with the Gapyeong County Family Center. The camp includes performances, a culture lecture, games and food booths.

Hancom Group to sponsor second Hancom Literature Awards, adds youth and high school category
Hancom Group will sponsor the 2026 second Hancom Literature Awards, to be held to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hangeul Day. The event is hosted by the Hancom Literature Awards Promotion Committee and organised by the Korea Poetry Literature Association. The competition offers 60 million won in total prizes, with 30 million won for the grand prize winner in the integrated category. A new youth and high school category has been added.
