Hana Financial opens AI, digital jobs centre for middle-aged in Gwangju Seo-gu

Hana Financial Group has opened a jobs centre in Seo-gu, a district of the Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City, to help middle-aged people strengthen AI and digital skills and support re-employment. Hana Financial said it opened the Gwangju Seo-gu New Middle-Aged AI and Digital Jobs Centre on Aug. 25. The centre is the third under its Hana Power On Second Life programme, following openings in Seoul’s Gangnam-gu in 2024 and Sejong in January.

Hana Financial Group said on Feb. 26 it is recruiting participants for its tailored re-employment support education programme, “2026 Hana Power On Second Life,” aimed at middle-aged and older adults. The programme has been operated since 2022. Over four years, Hana Financial Group trained 6,668 online and 2,556 offline participants, with 1,174 re-employed. This year’s curriculum will be integrated into three impact job areas focused on AI social platforms, with job links after completion.
