Hana Financial to build HanaThe Next Lifecare elderly care facility
HanaThe Next Lifecare said it held a groundbreaking ceremony on March 27 at a site in Jichuk-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, to build an elderly care facility. The event was attended by executives from Hana Financial Group and guests including officials from the Korea Life Insurance Association and Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital. The facility will provide combined housing and care services for older people and aims to open in September 2027.

Hana Financial Group to form 500 billion won infrastructure fund
Hana Financial Group said on March 16 it will form the 500 billion won Hana Modu Growth Infrastructure Fund to help channel private capital into productive finance and support new growth drivers for the national economy. The fund will be financed entirely with money from key group affiliates. It will invest in renewable energy and AI and digital infrastructure, with a focus on early-stage development projects, including offshore wind in Wando and AI hub centre developments in Bucheon and Incheon.

Hana Financial keeps CEOs at major units, replaces Hana F&I head
Hana Financial Group on Wednesday recommended CEO candidates for seven major affiliates, including Hana Securities and Hana Life Insurance. The group said it prioritised stable growth and strengthening non-bank portfolio competitiveness. Most current CEOs were nominated for another term, including those at Hana Asset Trust, Hana Alternative Asset Management, Hana Financial TI and Hana Insurance. Hana F&I was the only unit with a new nominee, Hana Bank executive Lee Eun-bae. Final selections will be confirmed after affiliate nomination committees, boards and shareholder meetings.
