Hitachi Vantara\'s U.S. Norman manufacturing site named WEF Lighthouse factory
HS Hyosung Information Systems said Hitachi Vantara\'s storage manufacturing facility in Norman, Oklahoma, has been selected as a World Economic Forum Lighthouse factory. Lighthouse factories are manufacturing sites that deliver innovative results in productivity, supply chain resilience and sustainability using technologies such as AI and robotics. HS Hyosung said the site runs an end-to-end digital manufacturing and supply chain hub and cut lead time by 77 percent and inventory by 50 percent by applying agentic AI.

Hitachi Vantara releases sustainability report to strengthen leadership in energy-efficient infrastructure
HS Hyosung Information Systems said on June 9 that its partner Hitachi Vantara published its FY2025 Sustainability Report. The report focuses on infrastructure innovation centered on the next-generation storage platform VSP One. It covers improved energy efficiency, reduced environmental impact, expanded lifecycle-based sustainability initiatives and stronger governance for AI and data-intensive workloads. The company said users reported energy savings and efficiency gains, including a 25 percent cut in data centre energy use at DestekBank.

Hitachi Storage tops Korea\'s 2025 high-end storage market by revenue
HS Hyosung Information Systems, an AI and data infrastructure solutions company, said Hitachi Storage ranked No. 1 in South Korea’s high-end storage market in 2025 by revenue, citing IDC’s quarterly external storage systems market survey. It said Hitachi Storage took a 39.6 percent share. The company said the result reflects recognition of Hitachi Storage as infrastructure that protects core corporate data and supports business continuity as AI adoption grows.
