Meta to switch internal messaging from Google Chat to Slack, citing fit for AI agents
Meta is switching its internal communications tool from Google Chat to Slack. Business Insider reported that Alexandre Wang, Meta’s AI chief, told staff of the plan in an internal memo this week. Wang said Slack is the strongest of the agent platforms currently available and cited its conversational interface, mature developer tools and strong third-party integrations. The decision is seen as a win for Salesforce, which owns Slack.

SM Group adds KnowledgeCube\'s KCUBE ON after Google Workspace rollout
SM Group, which announced it would roll out Google Workspace companywide to pursue an AI transition from April, has additionally adopted KnowledgeCube’s KCUBE ON for Google Workspace to upgrade its groupwide work environment. The move aims to unify organization and account management previously scattered across affiliates and build an AI-based work platform combining Google collaboration tools with Korean-style organizational structure and work processes.

Thinkfree to share AI web office strategy at AI Expo Korea
Thinkfree, a subsidiary of Hancom, will take part in AI Expo Korea 2026 in Seoul from May 6 to 8 and share its AI web office strategy. The company plans to present a new work environment combining AI-based web office technology with Thinkfree Office, including automated document drafting and converting AI-generated data into editable documents. It will also unveil the Refinder AI agent and exhibit Thinkfree Drive.
