Thinkfree, a unit of Hancom, will take part in the 9th International Artificial Intelligence Expo, AI EXPO KOREA 2026, in Seoul from May 6 to 8 and share its AI web office strategy.
At the event, Thinkfree plans to present a new work environment that combines AI-based web office technology with Thinkfree Office. The AI-based web office technology automatically drafts documents and provides an environment that converts data and outputs generated by corporate AI into document form for immediate editing.
The company said Thinkfree Office is compatible with major global document formats, including Microsoft Office. Built on a structure designed to flexibly connect with various AI models, it supports integrating document creation, editing and collaboration functions across internal corporate systems as well as external AI services. It supports an on-premises installation model on internal servers, blocking the risk of leaks of confidential in-house documents and user data and the possibility of their use for AI training. It offers simultaneous editing by multiple collaborators and real-time chat, and allows user interface adjustments to meet customer needs.
Thinkfree will also unveil its Refinder AI agent. Refinder supports RAG-based search and work automation by integrating corporate data distributed across multiple clouds. It can manage schedules, draft documents and track issues through natural-language commands in messengers such as Slack and Google Chat.
It will also display Thinkfree Drive, which combines an online office and cloud storage to support document storage, sharing and management in one place in a more secure environment.
Thinkfree CEO Doo-young Kim (김두영) said there are many cases where use is limited due to a disconnect between AI infrastructure and document work environments. He said the company will use an AI web office to naturally link insights accumulated by customers into documents to raise work efficiency.
