XLA8 unveils EventCAT Docent AI multilingual exhibition guide, to run on-site trials

XLA8, an AI simultaneous interpretation and translation company, said on Wednesday it has unveiled EventCAT Docent, an AI multilingual cultural commentary platform. The service provides real-time exhibition explanations with subtitles and audio in visitors\' native languages after scanning a QR code, without installing an app or using additional devices. The company will run trials at four cultural institutions in South Korea, including Kyungpook National University Art Museum, and analyze usage patterns, translation quality and visitor satisfaction.

DeepL Voice used in Amorepacific global meetings as monthly usage tops 100

Global language AI company DeepL said on Tuesday that its real-time voice translation solution, DeepL Voice, is being used for Amorepacific’s global collaboration work, pushing the number of meetings per month above 100. Usage rose from 20 to 30 meetings a month at the early stage of adoption, while utilisation of deployed licences topped 95 percent. Amorepacific introduced the tool to support multilingual meetings across overseas organisations.

NineHire expands recruiting guidebook content, publishes generative AI guidebook

NineHire, an applicant tracking system provider, said on Oct. 15 it will publish a guidebook on using generative AI as part of its practical content for recruiters. The guidebook includes articles on hiring market trends, solutions for workplace use, topic-based recruiting guidebooks, an HR glossary and customer interviews. NineHire said its recruiting guidebook series has released 18 editions since 2022 and covers a range of hiring tasks.
