[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] NineHire, an applicant tracking system (ATS) provider, said on Oct. 15 it will publish a guidebook on using generative AI as part of its practical content for recruiters.

NineHire's generative AI guidebook consists of articles covering hiring market trends, solutions summarising practical application methods, recruiting guidebooks grouped by topic, a human resources (HR) glossary and customer interviews, the company said.

Among them, the "recruiting guidebook" is a series introducing a practical manual covering overall recruiting work and ways to apply it in the field. It has released 18 editions since 2022 and covers topics including how to write job postings, applicant guidance email and text templates, building a recruiting website, talent pool management (TRM), improving offer acceptance rates, recruiting cost management and recruiting data reports, the company said.

The recently published "AI utilisation guidebook for recruiters" was planned for practitioners who want to adopt generative AI in recruiting but are unsure which tasks to apply it to and how. It is structured by recruiting stage, from writing postings to screening documents, designing interview questions and evaluation, and data analysis, and includes 32 prompts that can be used immediately by filling in blanks.

A NineHire official said recruiters handle a wide range of tasks from writing job postings to managing applicants and costs and onboarding after hiring, but it is not easy to find reference standards. The official said the company will continue to publish materials that can be checked and applied right away in the field to support corporate recruiting operations.
