KT revamps official online store as KT Direct Shop
KT said on Saturday it has rebranded its official online store from KT Shop to KT Direct Shop and will run promotions. The company said KT Direct Shop is an online store operated directly by KT headquarters. It said the renewal aims to clarify its identity as an official directly operated online store and improve the user environment so customers can more easily check online-only benefits. It is launching a Galaxy Z series pre-order promotion.

KT runs Galaxy Z hands-on spaces at major stores nationwide
KT is operating customer hands-on spaces at major stores to mark the launch of the new Galaxy Z series. It has set up special areas at three flagship stores where visitors can try key features of the Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 and receive tiered rewards for completing missions. It is also running linked content with Millie’s Library and holding demonstrations at six regional hub stores.

Samsung unveils Galaxy Z8 foldables, including first Fold8 Ultra
Samsung Electronics unveiled three new foldable smartphones - the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 - at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. The company introduced a new display ratio for the Fold8 and launched its first ultra-premium foldable model. It also expanded agentic AI features across its foldables and announced new Galaxy Watch9 models and Intelligent Eyewear smart glasses. The Z8 series will roll out globally from Aug. 7.
