KT said on Saturday it has rebranded its official online store, KT Shop, as KT Direct Shop and will run promotions.

KT Direct Shop is an online store operated directly by KT headquarters. KT said the renewal focuses on clarifying its identity as an official directly operated online store. It also improved the user environment so customers can easily check online-only benefits.

For its first promotion, KT prepared a pre-order-only promotion for the Galaxy Z series. Customers who pre-order and activate through KT Direct Shop by switching their number will receive a wireless charger, limited to the first 1,000 people. KT will also offer items such as a pure gold coin through a draw.

Kim Young-geol (김영걸), head of KT's Customer Business Division, said KT Direct Shop is an online shop directly operated by KT headquarters where customers can safely compare and purchase telecommunications products. He said KT will continue to work to provide a convenient, customer-focused purchasing experience.
