Seminar to cover how companies build ontologies in agentic AI era
A seminar will be held on how to design and build ontology-based knowledge systems as companies move into an agentic AI stage that autonomously performs internal tasks. Devmento said it will host the seminar on Oct. 7 at the Korea Advertising Culture Center in Jamsil. The program covers basic ontology concepts, Palantir Foundry operations, a live ontology build, and domestic and overseas enterprise application cases.

Standard Energy supplies vanadium ion battery ESS to Hanyang University
Standard Energy said it installed a vanadium ion battery energy storage system at Hanyang University’s Seoul campus and began full operation after passing a pre-use inspection. It said the system will be used in a Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning national project led by GS E&C to develop and demonstrate a community energy management system. The ESS will link with solar power and other facilities to reduce peak demand and stabilize power quality.

Snowflake to hold Snowflake World Tour Seoul on Aug 27 to share AI strategy
Snowflake will hold its annual Snowflake World Tour Seoul conference on Aug. 27 at the COEX Conference Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The event is part of a global data conference held in 23 cities and marks its fifth edition in South Korea. Snowflake will focus on how to connect AI to business outcomes using trusted data and platforms, with keynote speeches, customer case studies, an awards ceremony and afternoon sessions across four tracks.
