Toss Bank said on Tuesday it has introduced the telecommunications authentication solution SurPASS to strengthen prevention of non-face-to-face financial fraud. The solution, provided by KCB through partnerships with mobile carriers, analyses risk signals during remote transactions to help financial firms assess transaction risk more precisely. Toss Bank said it will prioritise suspected fraud such as voice phishing for checks and run additional verification linked to its internal fraud detection system.

Dunamu said on April 6 it held a joint seminar on April 3 with the Korean National Police University\'s Financial Crime Analysis Center to strengthen responses to digital financial crime. The seminar assessed digital asset crime from four perspectives, including investigative practice, private exchanges, academia and international policy. Dunamu shared experience in operating abnormal transaction detection systems and cooperation on asset freezes. The two sides plan ongoing joint research and to institutionalise permanent public-private cooperation channels.
