U.S. Army soldiers assemble and fly attack drone in successful live-fire test

The U.S. Army has succeeded in a live-fire test of a one-time attack drone assembled and operated by soldiers, as it seeks to build frontline units’ ability to operate and modify small drones without relying on outside vendors. The 2nd Cavalry Regiment used an Orqa MRM2-10 at the Grafenwoehr training area in Germany. Soldiers added a unit-designed electronic safety device and a 3D-printed explosive housing.

XRP profitable supply share rises to 57 percent, highest in nine months

The share of XRP circulating supply in profit rose to 57.172 percent, the highest level in nine months. Decrypt reported that as XRP held around $1.40, a large portion of tokens bought during the August to September rebound moved back into profit. Glassnode data show 57.172 percent of supply was last moved at prices below the current level. At $1.51, about 39.12 billion XRP were in profit, while 42.8 percent remained at a loss.

KOSPI slips to 6,700 level despite Samsung Electronics\' 107.4 trillion won operating profit; Kosdaq also weaker

South Korea\'s KOSPI slipped to the 6,700 level in early trade on Oct. 8 despite news that Samsung Electronics\' third-quarter operating profit beat market expectations. The index extended losses as foreigners and institutions were net sellers. Samsung Electronics reported 195 trillion won in quarterly revenue and 107.4 trillion won in operating profit, but its shares fell, while SK Hynix rose. The Kosdaq also declined and the won strengthened against the dollar.
