Japan tests AI agent-based autonomous payment in yen using XJPY, says CoinPost
Japan’s foreign exchange service company Exchangers completed a technical verification of AI agent-based autonomous payments using yen-denominated e-money XJPY. CoinPost reported that the company confirmed, in an internal environment, a process in which an AI agent handled content requests, payment and receipt without human involvement. The test used the x402 payment protocol and combined yen settlement, a KYC-completed wallet and gasless payments. Exchangers plans to move to real-world testing.

Vertiv to expand heat dissipation technology with ThermoKey acquisition
Vertiv plans to acquire ThermoKey, a specialist in heat exchange and heat dissipation technology, Techzine reported on Sunday. The deal is part of Vertiv\'s strategy to build an end-to-end thermal management portfolio for AI infrastructure. ThermoKey provides dry coolers, microchannel heat exchangers, air-cooled condensers and liquid cooling systems, and supports compatibility with environmentally friendly refrigerants.

LG Electronics to supply total HVAC solutions to AI data centre in Wanju
LG Electronics will supply a total cooling solution for an AI data centre planned in Wanju County, North Jeolla Province, based on its HVAC technology. It signed an MOU with Wanju County, Technogreen and KEPCO KDN for the Wanju data centre project. The 20-megawatt facility will cost 280 billion won through 2029 and has passed a final review by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment.
