Snap CEO says over two-thirds of code is written by AI, focus shifts from engineering to distribution
Snap CEO Evan Spiegel said AI is rapidly changing how the company operates, with AI writing more than two-thirds of new code. Speaking on the Cheeky Pint podcast, he said AI development tools such as Anthropic\'s Claude are advancing quickly and are altering software development across Snap. Spiegel also said as software development becomes easier, companies will shift resources away from engineering and toward distribution, focusing more on making products visible to users.
