El Salvador\'s Bukele tops global leader approval rankings at 94 percent
El Salvador President Nayib Bukele posted a 94 percent approval rating, ranking first in a survey of leaders from 26 countries, a blockchain media outlet reported. The crypto industry has focused on his push for national bitcoin adoption, with El Salvador making bitcoin legal tender in 2021 and continuing daily purchases. A recent CID Gallup poll found only 2.2 percent of Salvadorans cited bitcoin as his administration’s biggest failure.

Bhutan sells another 319 bitcoins, holdings down 70 percent
Bhutan moved an additional 319 bitcoins from government-linked wallets, extending a selling trend that has continued since late last year. The transfer was worth about $22.68 million, and cumulative outflows since late October last year have exceeded 9,000 bitcoins. Supporters say tokenisation could enable 24-hour trading and instant settlement, though the model does not replace the current financial system.
