21Shares says bitcoin four-year cycle not over, sees return to $100,000 by year-end

Crypto asset manager 21Shares withdrew its earlier view that bitcoin’s traditional four-year price cycle had ended and set a new base case of a return to about $100,000 by year-end. It said the post-peak drop resembles past post-halving corrections. It also said the current decline is milder than past bear markets, while crypto ETP assets have fallen and stablecoin growth expectations were cut, but prediction markets are growing faster than expected.

BlackRock recommends adding bitcoin to portfolios

BlackRock has recommended that investors allocate 1 to 2 percent of their portfolios to bitcoin, presenting a balance between improving returns and managing risk through diversification. The guidance, presented by Michael Gates, head of portfolio management for BlackRock’s model portfolios, says a small allocation can influence performance without driving day-to-day risk. BlackRock cited its iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) as an implementation tool.

Bitcoin holds near $64,000 as ETF outflows and options expiry cloud direction

Bitcoin is holding near $64,000 even after the U.S. Federal Reserve reaffirmed its hawkish stance, but the market is still moving in a range without clear buying. It is down about 13 percent over the past month and about 50 percent from its October 2025 peak of $126,080. Analysts pointed to ETF outflows, derivatives deleveraging and macro conditions, while a $10.9 billion options expiry on June 27 is seen as a near-term volatility trigger.
