Argentina blocks access to Polymarket amid illegal gambling concerns
Argentina has ordered a nationwide block on access to crypto-based prediction market Polymarket after treating it as an illegal gambling platform, Coindesk reported. The move followed a ruling by a Buenos Aires court that the platform operated without local approval and posed gambling-related risks. Under the decision, internet providers must block all related domains and Apple and Google must restrict downloads by local users.
