Robot Taekwon V to mark 50th anniversary with commemorative stamps

South Korea will issue commemorative stamps marking the 50th anniversary of Robot Taekwon V. The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s postal service said it will release 700,000 stamps on July 29. Robot Taekwon V will also be used as the main character for the 2026 Korea Stamp Exhibition, held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul from July 29 to Aug. 2. The stamps feature major characters and various depictions of the robot.

\"We support your new beginning\" - Letter-writing contest winners announced

Korea Post’s Postal Human Resources Development Institute announced on Wednesday the winners of the 2026 Korea Letter-Writing Contest. The contest ran from May to June under the theme of letters supporting someone’s new beginning. About 11,600 handwritten letters were submitted nationwide, more than 30 percent higher than last year. After preliminary and final judging, the institute selected 80 winners across seven categories, including individual and group prizes.

Korea Post to hold stamp exhibition featuring Robot Taekwon V and Faker

The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service will hold the 2026 Korea Stamp Exhibition from July 29 to Aug. 2. The event, themed “Stamps, diving into the times,” will run at Dongdaemun Design Plaza’s Igansumun exhibition hall. It will feature a Robot Taekwon V commemorative stamp area and AI-convergence content. Korea Post will issue 700,000 stamps marking Robot Taekwon V’s 50th anniversary and preview stamps for Faker due in October.
