KakaoBank joins small business support expo, promotes relief account
KakaoBank said on March 27 it is taking part in the 2026 Small Business Support Expo at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, introducing Seoul’s financial support product for small business owners, the Ahnshim Account. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation are hosting the event, which offers financial counselling and other programmes. KakaoBank will run a booth and provide an on-site application experience. It is the only bank participating in all three Ahnshim Account programmes.

Woori Bank to supply 200 billion won under Seoul assured account programme 3
Woori Bank said on Wednesday it will support the third round of Seoul’s assured account programme for small merchants in the city, in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation. The 200 billion won programme will provide remote overdraft loans of up to 10 million won. Eligible applicants are sole proprietors operating for more than one year with a NICE credit score of at least 600 and minimum sales thresholds.

Hana Financial supports ESG startups with 22 billion won
Hana Financial Group held a demo day for the 2025 Hana ESG Double Impact Matching Fund at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. The fund, financed entirely by donations, supports ESG startups with capital for growth and follow-on funding. Since 2022, it has invested in 52 companies with 9.05 billion won and helped attract 61.4 billion won in follow-on funding. This year, 232 companies applied, and 15 were selected to receive 22 billion won.
