Duplicate firms joined Docpamo evaluation dataset project, science ministry says no favoritism issue
Some companies repeatedly took part in a dataset-building project used to evaluate the government\'s homegrown AI foundation model project known as Docpamo, the Ministry of Science and ICT said. At a parliamentary audit, ruling party lawmakers said similar firms joined multiple dataset projects in successive years. Second Vice Minister Ryu Je-myung acknowledged duplicate participation but said the groups had relevant expertise and that no special treatment or fairness issues arose.
