NH Investment & Securities sets up digital asset team to prepare STO business

NH Investment & Securities has set up a dedicated organisation to respond to the inclusion of digital assets in the regulated system and the institutionalisation of tokenised securities (STO). It formed a digital asset task force on July 22 to identify business opportunities and build an execution base. The team will operate through Dec. 31, with an option to extend, and will prepare business models and short-term tasks ahead of an STO law due in February.

Hoskinson says Trump should step back from crypto market

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said a sitting president should not participate directly in the cryptocurrency market, arguing that U.S. President Donald Trump’s involvement in crypto businesses fuels conflict-of-interest concerns. The comments followed Senator Elizabeth Warren’s opposition to a revised Clarity bill, which she said does not adequately prevent Trump from profiting while in office.
