Next Securities will adopt chart solutions from global market analysis platform TradingView for its mobile trading system (MTS) currently under development.
Next Securities said on Oct. 22 it signed a partnership with TradingView to introduce its chart solution. Under the collaboration, Next Securities plans to apply TradingView’s chart library, Advanced Charts, to its in-development MTS.
TradingView is a global financial market analysis platform that provides price quotes and chart analysis tools for various financial assets, including stocks, foreign exchange, digital assets and commodities.
Users can check price trends for major instruments including bitcoin, the S&P 500 index and the won-dollar exchange rate, as well as the U.S. dollar index (DXY), international gold prices (XAUUSD), and shares such as Nvidia and Tesla.
It also offers functions investors can use to search and analyse market information, including technical indicators and chart drawing tools, a stock screener and an economic calendar.
Advanced Charts, which Next Securities is adopting, supports more than 100 technical indicators. It also provides drawing functions to mark trendlines and support lines on charts and 12 types of candlestick settings.
Investors can set preferred technical indicators such as moving averages and draw trendlines directly on charts to analyse price movements. They can also change the candlestick type depending on the purpose of the analysis.
A Next Securities official said, "This collaboration is designed to enable investors to use stock charts in more diverse ways and understand them through technical analysis." The official added, "We plan to support investors in obtaining the information they need by using TradingView’s chart technology."
