ElevenLabs appoints former OpenAI executive Ashley Kramer as CRO
AI audio company ElevenLabs said on Tuesday it has appointed Ashley Kramer (애슐리 크레이머), a former OpenAI executive, as chief revenue officer. Kramer led enterprise sales at OpenAI, handling AI adoption and sales for Fortune 100 companies. She previously held leadership roles in sales, marketing and product and technology at GitLab, Alteryx and Tableau. ElevenLabs said its annual recurring revenue this year doubled from a year earlier to $600 million, with enterprise customers accounting for about 55 percent of revenue.

EU moves to remove Huawei, ZTE and other Chinese gear from networks; replacement costs could hit 40 billion euros
The European Union is pushing to remove Chinese telecoms equipment such as Huawei and ZTE from networks, and European operators could face replacement costs of up to 40 billion euros, an analysis said. A GSMA Intelligence report commissioned by seven major operators estimated higher costs than earlier European Commission figures because it includes transport networks and fixed broadband gear. It also forecast price rises and warned of delays to network upgrades and wider digital infrastructure investment gaps.

Selectstar joins Open Telco AI as official partner
Selectstar, an AI data and reliability evaluation company, said on Thursday it has joined the GSMA-launched Open Telco AI as an official partner for data and AI evaluation. The alliance brings together more than 40 companies and institutions including AT&T, AMD and Google Cloud. Selectstar said it will help verify reliability across the ecosystem, support Open Telco Benchmark operations and provide AI reliability assessment and red-teaming services for telecom operators.
