Palo Alto Networks says Mythos finds vulnerabilities in 3 weeks matching a year of manual penetration testing

Palo Alto Networks introduced its Frontier AI Defense initiative, saying AI-driven cyber threats have entered a new phase after testing frontier models. The company said three weeks of AI-assisted analysis matched a year of manual penetration testing. It also flagged exploit chaining that links low-risk flaws into critical attack paths and said AI-assisted attacks cut the time from initial access to data theft to 25 minutes. It warned most organisations lack visibility into employee-created code as local AI agents spread.

21Shares launches first U.S. spot Canton Network ETF, lists TCAN on Nasdaq

Asset manager 21Shares has listed TCAN, the first U.S. spot exchange-traded fund linked to Canton Network’s native token, Canton Coin (CC), on Nasdaq. The product aims to give U.S. investors a regulated way to invest in the Canton Network ecosystem. The fund is called the 21Shares Canton Network ETF and charges a 0.50 percent annual fee. The Canton Network is backed by a consortium involving Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Deutsche Bank Japan.

Sucinct launches iPhone camera app to tackle AI fake content with cryptography

Sucinct Labs has launched ZCAM, an iPhone camera app that leaves a cryptographic signature at the moment a photo or video is captured. The app creates a tamper-resistant record linking the content to the device used, allowing users to independently verify whether media was captured on a real device rather than digitally altered or generated. The company said it raised $55 million in 2024 and launched its Sucinct Prover Network mainnet and PROVE token in August last year.
