Odos Protocol to shut down as more crypto platforms close

Odos Protocol, a decentralised exchange aggregation service, will end operations on July 30, requiring users to withdraw assets within a week. Cointelegraph reported that the operating team disclosed the plan on X but did not give a reason. The Odos DAO said it will announce its own plans later, while the ODOS token will remain on-chain. Odos DEX aggregation volume has fallen over the past two years.

Tether Gold (XAUT) has been approved as a spot commodity in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), enabling regulated firms in the financial centre to provide services tied to the tokenised gold asset. The move follows ADGM’s acceptance of Tether’s dollar-pegged stablecoin USDt (USDT) as a fiat-referenced token. Data cited show XAUT’s total value locked rising more than threefold over a year, while firms plan additional uses such as loan collateral.

Robinhood Chain memecoin investors post 63% losses, CashCat down 75%

More than 6 out of 10 investors in top memecoins traded on Robinhood Chain have posted losses, an analysis found. Bubblemaps said only 37% of 164,538 traders in the chain’s 50 most-traded tokens were profitable, while 63% were in the red. Trading surged after a 90-day gas-fee subsidy and a CashCat boom, but CashCat has fallen about 75% from its July 11 peak.
