Baek Gyeong-hun checks Lunar New Year holiday mail operations
Deputy Prime Minister and Science Minister Baek Gyeong-hun visited Dalseong Post Office in Daegu on Feb. 13 to check mail handling during a special Lunar New Year holiday period and to encourage employees. Dalseong is a key post office serving southwestern Daegu, handling parcels including local specialty products. Korea Post has begun an emergency staffing system through Feb. 20 and expects about 12,320,000 parcel items nationwide.
