Daangn said on Thursday it has officially launched its interest-based online community service, called Cafe, in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon. The service lets neighborhood users gather around specific topics to share information through posts, unlike the existing offline-focused meet-up service. Daangn applies instant buy to e-coupon trading
Local community app Daangn said it will fully apply its Instant Buy feature to e-coupon trading to improve transaction safety and convenience. It will create a dedicated e-coupon category and operate all gifticon trades containing barcodes or PIN numbers through Instant Buy with safe payment by default. The process automates image uploads and code recognition, and buyers pay without separate negotiation. Settlement is completed after buyers confirm within 48 hours. Daangn will temporarily cut the safe payment fee for Instant Buy e-coupon trades to 2.2 percent from 3.3 percent and offer additional protection through its compensation system.
