LG Electronics 2.5-MW liquid cooling unit wins Nvidia \'DSX Ready\' approval

LG Electronics said its 2.5-MW coolant distribution unit (CDU) has been approved as Nvidia\'s \"DSX Ready CDU\", expanding its data centre liquid-cooling lineup. DSX Ready is an Nvidia certification programme for products that meet requirements related to the DSX AI Factory platform, with CDUs targeting units of 2.3 MW or more used in AI factory builds. LG Electronics previously received approvals for 600-kW and 1-MW CDUs.

LG Energy Solution joins Nvidia DSX Ready as first South Korean battery maker

LG Energy Solution has joined Nvidia\'s next-generation AI factory ecosystem as a battery energy storage system partner. The company said it was selected for Nvidia\'s DSX Ready qualification programme, with three BESS partners chosen globally and LG Energy Solution the only South Korean battery company. It said its JF2 AC Link, based on high-capacity LFP batteries, meets the programme\'s requirements and supports AI load levelling and voltage support.
