MSIT overhauls international joint research management to tighten IP protection

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT will overhaul its management system for joint research with overseas institutions to protect domestic research results and intellectual property and improve transparency in research fund spending. It will standardise a two-stage agreement process with up to six months of preparation time and tighten post-management rules. The ministry will also set differentiated funding management standards by research type and revise related rules through the first half of 2027.

MSIT overhauls IRIS interface, automates paper registration and expands mobile support

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Saturday it has overhauled the screen layout and user interface of the pan-government Integrated Research Support System (IRIS) to reduce researchers’ administrative burden. The revamp focuses on automating research output registration, expanding mobile services, unifying standard forms and screen structures, and improving usability. It adds automatic paper information entry by linking to Web of Science and NRI and introduces 24 mobile-only services.

Hecto Healthcare showcases supplements at 2026 Cobe Baby Fair

Hecto Healthcare said on Thursday its baby and kids health brand Kim Seok-jin LAB is taking part in the 2026 Cobe Baby Fair at COEX in Seoul through Nov. 1, showcasing nutrition products for infants and children.
