Snowflake, Anthropic expand enterprise AI alliance from coding to security

Snowflake and Anthropic are strengthening their partnership to lower barriers for companies adopting AI. After agreeing in December to integrate Anthropic’s Claude models directly into Snowflake’s Cortex AI platform, the two are expanding cooperation across six areas. They include enabling Claude inference on enterprise data without exporting it, adding Claude to Snowflake Intelligence, boosting developer workflows, offering Cortex Agent tools and joining the Claude Marketplace. The companies are also collaborating on Claude Code Security.

Anthropic launches \'Claude Security\' public beta to detect and patch software vulnerabilities

Anthropic has launched a public beta of a security tool called Claude Security that detects vulnerabilities in enterprise codebases and generates patches, SiliconANGLE reported. The tool is available to Claude Enterprise subscribers. Anthropic said it began a research preview in February under the name Claude Code Security and that hundreds of companies used it to find and patch vulnerabilities in production code. The tool analyzes data flows and code interactions and provides confidence scores and explanations.

‘Comment and Control’ attack can hack Claude Code, Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot at once

A security engineer disclosed a prompt injection technique dubbed “Comment and Control” that can attack Anthropic’s Claude Code, Google’s Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot Agent at the same time, SecurityWeek reported. The method manipulates common GitHub content such as comments, PR titles and issue bodies to trick AI agents into running attacker-chosen commands. Tests showed credential and API key theft and data exfiltration. All three companies confirmed the issue and paid bug bounties.
