Microsoft in talks to supply in-house Maia AI chip to Anthropic in first external deal
Microsoft is discussing a plan to supply its in-house artificial intelligence chip to Anthropic, potentially marking its first external customer for the Maia line. CNBC reported the companies are negotiating Anthropic’s use of the customised chip. A person familiar with the matter said no final agreement has been reached. Spotify has launched a desktop app, Studio by Spotify Labs, that lets users create personalised podcasts using AI, TechCrunch reported on Wednesday. The app connects personal data such as email, calendars and documents to generate daily briefings in text or audio. It also offers an AI agent that browses the web and pulls personal information to create custom podcasts. Spotify said the app is in an early preview and may produce errors.
