Credo to buy DustPhotonics, targets silicon photonics for AI infrastructure
U.S. data centre connectivity solutions company Credo Technology Group will acquire Israeli silicon photonics chip company DustPhotonics, Israeli media outlet Calcalist reported on April 14 local time. Credo will pay $750 million in cash and $123 million worth of stock. Credo aims to accelerate expansion in optical communications through the deal. The company also plans to reduce reliance on external suppliers and build an integrated connectivity platform across AI systems.

Unity to shut ironSource ad network, seek sale of Supersonic
Unity Technologies has decided to shut down the ironSource advertising network and has begun procedures to sell its casual game publishing subsidiary Supersonic, Israeli outlet Calcalist reported on Thursday. Unity said in an investor update it will end the ironSource ad network on April 30. It described the move as part of streamlining to focus on core businesses and new technologies.

ServiceNow acquires Traceloop to close gaps in AI governance
Cloud software company ServiceNow has acquired Israeli startup Traceloop, known for AI agent technology. The purchase price was not disclosed, but Israeli media outlet Calcalist estimated it at $60 million to $80 million. Traceloop offers technology based on its open-source OpenLLMetry project to improve AI agent performance, automate evaluation and help developers detect issues early, track model behaviour in production and deploy fixes with higher confidence.
