World IT Show opens at COEX on April 22, spotlighting physical AI
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said the 2026 World IT Show will be held at COEX in Seoul from April 22 to 24. Marking its 18th edition, the event will spotlight “physical AI,” in which AI combines with areas such as robots and autonomous manufacturing. About 460 companies and institutions from 17 countries will participate. The show will also feature special pavilions, conferences and programs to support exports and investment.

Ceragem applies edge AI to medical devices, uses experience space data to upgrade platform
Ceragem, a medical device maker with 28 years of operations, is accelerating its AI transformation with a focus on real-time sensing and response. AX Center head Jun-yong Park said the company is prioritising an edge AI structure so sensitive data can be processed on devices. Ceragem is pursuing an “AI wellness home” strategy and is using data from its nationwide Wellaunge experience spaces to upgrade its Ceracheck platform, while expanding partnerships through a healthcare alliance.

KB Kookmin Bank recruits sixth cohort for KB Unicorn Club startup program
KB Kookmin Bank said on Tuesday it is recruiting companies for the sixth cohort of its KB Unicorn Club startup incubation program, which supports the stable growth of new businesses. Launched in 2021, the program identifies promising startups in new industries and helps them grow into unicorn companies. Applications are open to founders aged 19 to 39 and startups less than 3 years old. The deadline is April 15.
