[DigitalToday reporter Suk Daegeon] Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Z Trifold was selected as the best product at CES 2026. Samsung Electronics said on Jan. 12 that the Galaxy Z Trifold won two categories at U.S. technology outlet CNET's Best of CES 2026 Awards: Best Overall Winner and Best Mobile Tech.

CNET is an official CES partner and works with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to conduct judging with more than 40 technology experts. The criteria include presenting a new concept, solving major consumer problems, and meeting performance and quality standards. It selects 63 winners across 22 categories and then chooses 1 overall best product.

CNET said the Galaxy Z Trifold combines an eye-catching design with practicality. It called it a true hybrid product that merges a full-size tablet and a smartphone in a slim form factor.

In the Best TV or Home Theater category, Samsung Electronics' premium OLED TV lineup S95H won. CNET said the S95H lineup stood out at CES and that its brightness is 35 percent higher than the previous model.

It is the first Samsung OLED TV to include burn-in prevention technology, allowing users to watch static images for long periods. This allows viewers to enjoy about 5,000 artworks from the Samsung Art Store in ultra-high definition. It supports a zero-gap wall mount so it can be installed flush against the wall.

In the Best Home Audio category, Samsung Music Studio5, first unveiled at CES 2026, won. Music Studio5 was designed by French furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, who designed Samsung Electronics' lifestyle TV The Serif. The speaker looks like a work of art and supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.

Samsung Electronics also won a total of 27 CES Innovation Awards run by the Consumer Technology Association, including 12 in visual display, 4 in home appliances, 3 in mobile, 7 in semiconductors and 1 for Harman.
