Naver to sponsor Busan International Film Festival; Chzzk to exclusively livestream opening ceremony
Naver will take part as an official sponsor of the 31st Busan International Film Festival and connect its services from live streaming to local information and on-site payments. It will provide on- and offline services using Chzzk, Clip, Naver Map and Naver Pay through Oct. 15. Chzzk will exclusively livestream major events including the opening and closing ceremonies, while Npay Connect terminals will support face-recognition payments at festival venues.

Naver Pay to support international film festivals with Npay Connect payment infrastructure
Naver Pay is supplying its offline integrated payment terminal, Npay Connect, and supporting facial recognition-based payments at international film festivals in South Korea. The company said it will provide Npay Connect-based payment infrastructure at the 22nd Jecheon International Music and Film Festival and the 31st Busan International Film Festival. During the events, users paying with Npay QR or FaceSign can earn points. Separate promotions apply at goods shops and ticket booths.

Kling AI is stepping up its push into South Korea as competition in video AI models intensifies. Global operations head Zeng Yushen (쩡위선) said the company has more than 100 million users worldwide, with 70 percent outside China, and that Korean usage is rising. He cited quality, 4K support and motion control as strengths, and said Kling will expand creator and enterprise partnerships, including through contests and API adoption.
