Naver Pay is supplying its offline integrated payment terminal, Npay Connect, to international film festivals and supporting facial recognition-based payment services.
Naver Pay said on Thursday it will provide Npay Connect-based payment infrastructure at the 22nd Jecheon International Music and Film Festival and the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
During the events, it will also offer point-earning benefits when users pay Npay Points and Money using Npay QR or FaceSign.
At goods shops, users can receive 3,000 points for payments of 20,000 won or more, and at ticket booths 1,000 points for payments of 10,000 won or more, up to 3 times each.
Npay Connect will also be installed at the official goods shop run by the organiser at the Busan International Film Festival, which runs from Oct. 6 to 15. Related promotions will be announced later.
A Naver Pay official said, "We are supporting the use of various payment methods and FaceSign payments at event sites where large numbers of visitors gather."
